Belgian LED starcloths come to SA

Questek Advanced Technologies (Questek) will now be distributing ShowLED, from Belgium, to the South African market. These custom-made LED starcloths can be installed in smooth-surfaced fabrics, soft goods, walls, ceilings, hard props and set pieces to create animated backdrops. The application is aimed at lighting designers, theatres and television producers, event companies, exhibitions, concerts, night clubs, restaurants, corporate events and cruise ships etc. ShowLED consists of lightweight sockets on thin cables, with LEDs that not only flickers but also flash as a strobe. Assembly is with easy-to-set-up velcro patches so that the reusable sockets and strings can be pulled off the cloth without damage.
