Tony-award-winning war horse makes an appearance at BASA Awards
The 14th annual Business Day Business and Arts South Africa (BASA) Awards, supported by Anglo American, took place at Turbine Hall on 29 August 2011. The award ceremony - which paid tribute to those businesses that are actively making a difference by sponsoring arts and culture events throughout the country - featured a special appearance by Topthorn, one of the lifelike puppets in the award-winning production War Horse. Topthorn was brought to Johannesburg, thanks to RMB and the Legacy Group.
