Launching the South Africa Awaits – Come Find Your Joy! campaign at the Atlantis Dunes, she highlighted the appeal of small towns offering affordable, off-the-beaten-path adventures.
Domestic travel is on the rise, driven by unique, personalised experiences. A 4.7% increase in international arrivals in early 2025 also reflects the country’s global appeal. De Lille emphasised that tourism boosts inclusive economic growth and urged support for local travel this holiday season.
