Taj Cape Town premiered an exclusive World of Firs
The TAJ celebrated the launch of The World of First Growths exclusive Wine List on Tuesday evening, the first in South Africa to showcase such a unique offering of rare and legendary wines.
It consists of International and local wines which have been chosen from the International World of First Growths listing (a list of 42 very special worldwide wines). The list is presented in an exquisite white leather bound folder which will be available to guests at The TAJ and calculates to over a million rands worth of investment. Including Petrus, Sassicaia and Margaux as well as the six South African wines that made it into the top six for South Africa: Columella, MR de Compostella, Epicurean, Vergelegen V, Waterford The Jem and Vilafonte.
