Alicia McFadzean transforms vandalised Mini Cooper
Below is an art piece by the talented Alicia McFadzean (Cheeky Observer). The vehicle, which was in a burnt state prior to the artwork, was torched on 6 May in an attempt to discourage Sea Point residents Peter and Lesley Wagenaar - the owners of the car - from feeding homeless people. McFadzean said she was delighted by the opportunity to transform the exterior of the Mini into an artwork that is reflective of the Wagenaars' ethos....

MANDELA: 100 Moments in Time - A Centenary Memorial Exhibition by Dr Peter Magubane launched on Friday 6 July at the Nelson Mandela Gateway to Robben Island at the V&A Waterfront.
