Joburg City Festival
The Joburg City Festival took place from 25 to 31 August, comprising a series of events all over the city - from fashion and art to music, theatre, dance, film, food, comedy, architecture, heritage, sport, adventure and party.
Key focus times of the festival were weekday lunchtimes and early evening performances as well as all-day activations on Sunday, 25 August and Saturday, 31 August. The Joburg City Festival fell strategically between Joy of Jazz and Arts Alive, thereby activating the city for nearly three weeks continually.
