Garden Court Marine Parade's beachfront cleanup
More than 100 Southern Sun employees have volunteered to beautify one of Durban's prime attractions in an initiative involving five
Southern Sun hotels located on the beachfront: the Sun Coast Hotel and Towers;
Southern Sun Elangeni; Southern Sun North Beach; Garden Court Marine
Parade; and Garden Court South Beach. The area will be divided into five
zones, with each hotel responsible for cleaning one of the zones.
The cleanup forms part of Garden Court Marine Parade's environmental
programme. Held in November to coincide with the hotel's 25 birthday
celebration, an old photograph taken during the year the hotel opened,
depicting a cleanup of the same area, inspired the event.
