You know, it breaks my heart to see that people no longer hire you on the fire that burns inside, but more so on a matter of BEEE status or experience. I spend every moment of my day thinking up ideas, and yearning for a shot at goal. But I guess my aim is far off. To be told that you would sit day and night with ample amounts of coffee tackling an idea is not enough to give you a shot. They rather say come back in 3 months. My question is this: If no-one is going to show me the ropes, am I forever going to be told to come back? One shot. Not one day, but Today. That's all I ask for. A copywriter of note is my mission - change the way you think. Being a creative is tough, but being yourself is even harder. But I refuse to give up. I don't follow trends, I set them.
