Is a Masters Degree recognised in the Corporate Communications industry?
I have always been under the impression that one’s academic qualification forms a prominent part of your marketability.
Consequently I pursued my academic career and am currently busy with my Masters degree in Corporate Communications. After working at a PR firm for approximately one year, I do however doubt the substance of such a high qualification in the communications industry. I find myself having to choose between completing my degree or following my career as a PR consultant. How do I decide which path carries the most weight?
