35 AFDA alumni nominations at the 6th SAFTAs 2012
AFDA alumni hits 35 nominations in the 2012 SAFTAS.
Umkhumbi Wethu - Our Ship, a 2011 graduation film nominated under the 'Golden Horn' - Best Student Film, and Bomlambo; a 2011 graduation film - Those of the Water nominated under the 'Golden Horn' - Best Short Film.
The 6th SAFTAs will be held on the 9th and 10th of March 2012 at Gallagher Estate in Midrand. The first event will award winners in the Non-Fiction categories and the second event will award Fiction categories. The awards will be broadcast on SABC3 on Sunday, 11th of March 2012.
