Screening career guidance for the youth
Nu Metro and Standard Bank have joined up with communications company Orbes Media to develop and screen an informative and entertaining movie outlining careers, education, training, life skills, loans and bursaries in South Africa, for learners in grades 9 - 12.
The movie also has valuable visual advice on writing a CV that sells, pointers on the all-important interview, skills shortage choices, careers in Government, environmental information and great competitions.
Screenings are scheduled in two morning sessions every day, 19 - 23 May 2008.
For the R15 entrance fee, each learner will also receive a 40-page CET24 Career Development magazine packed with support information. At the end of the show, learners will be able to complete postcards requesting further information on the areas that particularly interest them.
