Konfetti to show at two prestigious US film festivals next month

In 2013, the latter was named as one of the 25 coolest movie festivals in the world by Moviemaker.com.

United International Pictures and Light and Dark Films also announced the South African cast lineup, which includes Louw Venter, Nico Panagio, Casey B. Dolan, Kim Engelbrecht, Casper De Vries, Christel van den Bergh and Jana Strydom. The film will be released in South African cinemas on 18 April 2014.

Director/producer Zaheer Goodman-Bhyat says, "I am proud of everyone involved in making Konfetti. Louw and I worked for years to realise a film we could be proud of and to be recognised internationally with big wins for our Afrikaans films is a great moment for us, for Afrikaans and for South African film."
