"The initial feedback has been so positive that initially a monthly supplement into the Lowvelder/Laevelder, the Hazyview Herald has progressed to a standalone community newspaper, distributed each week."
Published twice a week, the Lowvelder/Laevelder's Friday edition is distributed with the Pro Habitat (property) guide and the last Friday of each month sees the Boer/Farmer supplement included. Similarly, the Mpumalanga News sees brand extension Mpumalanga Mirror inserted into the paper each week.
"Standalone products AutoDealer/, Inside Out and community magazine Get It remain regular additions to Lowveld Media's offerings," says Randall. "We feel we've grabbed a golden opportunity to further leverage the community newspaper medium and anticipate a great reaction both from readers and advertisers."
Other community newspapers represented by NAB in the Mpumalanga area are: Barberton Times; Corridor Gazette; Die Daller; Highvelder/Hoëvelder; Middelburg Observer; Ridge Times; Standerton Advertiser; Steelburger/Lydenburger News; Streeknuus; The Echo; Witbank News and the Portuguese language community newspaper O' Barateiro.
