A close shave at the Monza Grand Prix

Triple-blade technology has become the shaving standard for the discerning man, but it exacts a hefty toll on the pocket. Enter the Bic Comfort 3, the first disposable razor to offer a shave of the quality that most people expect from fixed head systems. After being piloted in Europe and the United States, it's set to launch in SA.

The Bic Comfort 3 has a contoured grip that's ergonomically designed for easy manoeuvring around the corners of your face. Its lubricating strips contain aloe vera and Vitamin E to soothe your skin and, of course, the triple blades ensure a really close but comfortable shave.

"We've done extensive pre-launch testing," says Patrick Plunkett, marketing manager for the Comfort 3, "and the response has been amazing. Most men are extremely impressed by the performance of the Comfort 3, particularly because it's a disposable razor."

The Bic Comfort 3 retails for around R24.99 for a packet of four. "In essence, we offer everything that our competitors do at a fraction of the cost," says Plunkett.

For the launch promotion, Bic is offering an all expenses paid trip for two people to the Monza Formula One Grand Prix. You can enter by SMSing the word "Comfort 3" to 33348. See packs for details or catch the Formula One action on SABC sport.
