BlackBerry Z3 tours campuses, issues challenges
BlackBerry will take its new Z3 smartphone on a tour of South African university campuses. In an ultimate test of its smartphone battery, the company will host res vs res power-up campus challenges to prove that it cannot be beaten.
Five res teams will go head to head, trying to keep the smartphone's battery life up with pedal power. Their opponents, meanwhile, will do everything they can to wear down the battery - for example, phoning it, texting it and sending photos and videos. The team that has the highest battery life at the end of the challenge wins R10,000 for their res.
The power-up challenges take place between 1-2pm at the following venues:
Tshwane University of Technology: 23 Sept
University of the Witwatersrand: 25 Sept
University of Johannesburg APK: 26 Sept
