Air Tanzania to resume flights to South Africa
Air Tanzania is set to resume services between O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg (JNB) and Dar es Salaam (DAR) with connections to domestic and international destinations from 28 June 2019. These include Zanzibar, Mtwara, Mwanza, Kilimanjaro, Mbeya; Zambia, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Bujumbura respectively. Flights between JNB-DAR will commence with four frequencies on days Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday using a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.

Air Tanzania’s fleet of 8 modern aircraft serves 18 destinations including the Spice Island of Zanzibar; the Business Capital of Tanzania – Dar es Salaam; Mwanza; Kilimanjaro, and on 22 February 2019, commenced flights to Harare-Zimbabwe and Lusaka-Zambia.
