Primedia Outdoor CEO quits

The introduction of a business realignment programme (BRP) within Primedia Outdoor by Primedia Out of Home chairmain Steve Ratlou has led to several operational and staff changes. "Skhumbuzo Nkosi, CEO and Mzi Deliwe, marketing & sales executive have tendered their resignations," announced Ratlou in a press statement this morning, Monday, 12 April 2010. "In the interim, I will be overseeing the overall business.

Continued Ratlou, "I am delighted to announce that Paul Wilkins, formerly CEO of MediaCompete, has been contracted to provide an objective viewpoint on the company's inventory, pricing and packaging strategies and to provide full support to the sales team. "

"In my recent introduction of a tight Business Realignment Programme (BRP) I have stressed that leadership and our people are key to the company's ongoing success. In addition to this is the need for a robust sales team, flexibility to re-align as necessary, the elimination of silo mentalities, driving a high performance culture and ensuring that the right people are on the bus in the right seats,” he stated.

Ratlou said he believes the company has the ability to bring in fresh talent and new ways of thinking to its team and he says that in the long term, this will result in a “formidable Primedia Outdoor".
