Facebook adds Security Checkup
Facebook has launched a new tool called Security Checkup that makes it easier to find and use the security controls for accounts. Sometime over the next few weeks, users will see a reminder at the top of the news feed. IT is now available globally on desktop and will be coming to mobile soon.

By clicking 'Get Started', they can follow the prompts through three easy steps.
The first step helps users log out of devices they have not used in a while or forgotten about, so they are only logged into Facebook where they want to be.
Next, they can turn on a feature called login alerts, which lets them know if anyone else tries to log into their account. Facebook will send a notification or email alert if someone tries to log into their account from an unfamiliar device or browser.
Finally, users can check out a few tips for how to keep their password strong and unique. It recommends not using a Facebook password anywhere else online, never sharing it with anyone, and avoiding common words that may be easy to guess.
