The show returns with a new look and a variety of new specialist presenters whilst retaining the experienced hosts and production crew that kept the show running. For the first time, the show introduces a youth segment, called ‘It's Up To Us', presented by two young presenters, Jarryd Hermann and Siyabonga Beyile.
Presenter and master of environmental science Simon Gear and director, cameraman and editor, André Cronje, join the host Ntokozo Mbuli, who is also the assistant producer of the show. Joining the main anchors are the field presenters - Sheena Adams, Pierre Breytenbach, Jacques Brodryck, Dominic Wilhelm, Mduduzi Seakamela and Wendy Wilson. The show is designed to have a wider audience appeal, broadcasting in four languages - English, Afrikaans, Zulu, Sotho and promises to investigate more stories within the African communities while educating the nation.
Each episode consists of four segments, which includes presenter's links and interviews in-studio or on camera. JC Engelbrecht and Katlego Maboe present the Veldfokus slot. Cronje is joined by Zamakuhle Mkhize to present the ‘Eco-warrior' segment. The segments will also bring the viewers closer to the nature surrounding them in an exciting manner that informs and entertains them through ‘Getting Connected with Braam', presented by Braam Malherbe.
