Supporting the supporters

Masupatsela is a SABC Education programme that profiles people facing the challenges of the pandemic who are not allowing defeat. Next week's episode Supporting the Supporters includes trailblazers from Positive Moms in Kwa-Zulu Natal, Grandmothers against Poverty and Aids in Western Cape and the SA Depression and Anxiety Group in Limpopo.

Trailblazers are those who take their own initiative and get to grips with the daily life of HIV and AIDS, using whatever resources they have to make life easier for those living with the disease. The ingenuity and compassion of these Trailblazers is made possible with funding provided by USAID, PEPFAR through the Johns Hopkins University.

Free Range Films produced the 13 television episodes for SABC Education. Supporting the Supporters will be shown on Tuesday 4 September on SABC2 at 9.30pm.
