Avondale Wine Estate offers visitors eco-tour

An Avondale eco tour takes visitors on a journey through the beautiful, 300-year old farm and shares the insight and inspiration behind its organic and biodynamic BioLOGIC approach to winemaking. It allows visitors to experience what it is that makes Avondale's approach to winemaking so unique. Guests are able to meet the duck family responsible for keeping pests at bay, view the dam's innovative spiralling system where the cleansing reeds mimic that of a river and experience the holistic technologies employed on the farm, such as the Leaf Sap Monitor which transmits data about the health of the vines in real time.

The tour includes a welcome at Avondale's tasting gallery, a comprehensive vineyard tour and a visit to the state-of-the-art gravity flow cellar. The Eco Tour also includes a personal tasting of Avondale's hand-crafted, elegant wines in a gorgeous vineyard setting.
