Johrne van Huyssteen, presenter of Oppi Draadloos on OFM, has been named a finalist in the Radio Announcer of the Year category in the Huisgenoot Tempo Awards.

Johrne says that this is certainly one of the "Wow!" moments of his career. "I am very honored to be named alongside some of the big names in radio in South Africa currently. It is a very tight competition and I appeal to people out there to vote for me."

The Huisgenoot Tempo Awards is an annual event that awards the who's who of the Afrikaans entertainment and media industry.
