Sustaining community radio

This project aims to promote and develop sustainability for community radio stations throughout South Africa. This includes showing participating stations that income can be generated, expenditure can be minimised and bills and salaries can be paid.

Through training, on-site visits and a series of workshops, ABC Ulwazi provides stations with sound management tools and principles. The materials and case studies generated by the team have fed directly in the book, "Community Radio: The people's voice" available free from ABC Ulwazi.
