In this regard, Sipho ‘Sgemeza' Mbatha and Nonhlanhla ‘Mroza' Buthelezi will step up to primetime radio. This pair will co-host the afternoon drive (3pm – 6pm) which will be produced by Pearl Maseko. Zama Ngcobo will replace Mroza in hosting the Sat Morning (5am-8am) Children and Wedding Show.
“In keeping with its commitment to development and giving a bigger platform to new talent, particularly female talent, Ukhozi FM has recruited a number of new faces from community and smaller regional stations. Kim ‘The Diva' Ngcobo, who has been with P4 Radio and Durban Youth Radio (DYR) joins to host the Saturday mid-morning (9am – 12 noon) magazine show. Sthandwa ‘Stha' Nzuza who also hails from DYR will host the Saturday late night music show (10pm – 2am).
