Business Live reports that the income from accommodation was down for the three months to July by 31,4% compared with the same period last year.

StatsSA says the decrease was due to a drop in the number of unit nights sold, which fell by 14,1% as well as a decrease of 20,2% in the average spend per unit night sold.
