GrandWest goes on a taste journey for Heritage Day

On 24 September 2016, GrandWest will host a special culinary experience to pay homage to the diversity of tastes and flavours that make up South African cuisine - Taste the World GrandWest Heritage Day. From traditional South African fare and Indian curry to Asian and Italian dishes, guests will be taken on a journey of the cuisines that give South Africa's food its character.

The food journey starts in Jackson Hall, GrandWest with registration at 12pm and will take guests on a meander through six restaurants where they will enjoy different dishes. Guests will experience bobotie and an Amarula shooter at the Quarterdeck Restaurant, sushi and sparkling wine at Cape Town Fish Market, chicken chow mein and Chinese tea at Beijing Orchid, pizza and wine at Casa Bella, three variants of tapas at The Hussar Grill and Lababdar chicken curry and wine at Bukhara.
