IDE-Global's Hotelier Summit doing real business

The 6th Edition Hotelier Summit - Africa will host a nexus for leading stakeholders from the hospitality market in Africa and will take place 21 to 22 April 2016 at the Hilton Sandton, Johannesburg. IDE-Global, through its industry networks, global reach and regional African focus, creates personal and business opportunities, providing stakeholders with contacts, content and communities.

It is an exclusive closed-door initiative, meaning only vetted stakeholders and suppliers can attend. It is all about doing real business, in the business of hospitality. Through the IDE-Global Portfolio, the organisers have access to an extremely large bank of buyers and suppliers from across the globe and their policy has always been to bring new, quality buyers to the suppliers who have immediate requirements for their ongoing and upcoming hospitality projects in Africa.

Companies and organisations are exposed to many sessions through which to market their products and services. The biggest aspect of the summit is the pre-scheduled face-to-face business meetings between the project holders and suppliers, which ensures project deadlines are met and create business value respectively.

Exploreing the opportunities Africa has to offer

IDE-Global will bring together over 200 industry experts including international and leading hotel owners, operators, developers, investors, architects, interior designers, consultants and service providers. The summit will explore the exceptional opportunities the African hospitality market offers.

The summit has already partnered with fellow captains of industry: Italian SA Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Hotel Partners Africa and Kenya Property Developers Association and is in the process of finalising other key partnerships with industry bodies in order to ensure quality business for its stakeholders.

The growing development in Africa has caught the attention of the international hospitality market. The South African Tourism Ministry has identified the potential to channelise this opportunity which will be reflected by the presence of Honorable Deputy Ministry of Tourism Tokozile Xasa, at the summit, who will be delivering the keynote at the 6th Edition Hotelier Summit – Africa.

More of everything

The Hotelier Summit programme provides a reason to attend all on its own. The two days are packed with key and relevant seminars, presentations and panel discussions, by sought after speakers, on topics that are of relevance to our industry currently.

“This year’s Hotelier Summit promises to deliver more interaction, more education, more networking and most importantly, more business with on-going projects in the African market concluded” said Ravi Kumar, director of IDE-Global. “We are delighted to continue to bring the world to Africa and Africa to the world once again.”
