1. We get to know our guests by their first names.
2. They know our names.
3. When the kitchen bakes anything the whole hotel can smell the delicious smell.
4. Our regular guests have stayed in all of the rooms and chosen their favourites.
5. I love that we don't do 'big'.
6. That we tailor-make events depending on specific requirements.
7. That the gardener is also the guy who carries your bag, changes your light bulb and runs to the shop to get your favourite sweets which we normally don't stock (actually cigarettes).
8. I get to speak to most of our guests at some stage of their stay be it check in, breakfast or during the day.
9. That we can use fresh flowers from our garden in our guest rooms daily without depleting it.
10. That we can change menus and wine lists when we get bored of it.
