Artists to tell stories through art, fashion, beauty and music in The Escape showcase

The Escape art showcase will be held at the Stones Wedding and Conference Centre in Midrand, Johannesburg on 5 December 2020.

Promising to bring an element of escapism into a better time and space, The Escape is for artists to showcase how they express their unique capabilities and creativity using art, fashion, beauty and music.

“The Escape is a space for artists to re-imagine the future and for our guests to walk into an interpretation of an ideal and extraordinary world. It’s been a hard year for everyone and continues to be, but we are creating a meeting place for people to showcase the enduring nature of human creativity through different expressions using fashion, art, music and beauty,” says Tumi Mkhondo, founder of Expressions, a platform aimed at telling stories through art, fashion, beauty and music.

Hosted by actress Lunathi Mampofu, guests will enjoy extraordinary live performances by South African music acts, art painting and illustrations, a fashion and beauty showcase and also complimentary massages and make-up tutorials.

Several brands including Simonsig, Afrobotanics, Yaka Demin Wear, Zyle Clothing, BMashilo Designs are set to provide an unforgettable experience.
