Six choirs to perform at A-Choired Taste showcase

Six choirs are set to perform at the third annual A-Choired Taste at GrandWest, Cape Town on 13 August 2016.

The choirs that will feature in the Grand Arena are the University of the Western Cape's Creative Arts Choir, the Libertas Choir, the Cape Town Youth Choir, the Bloemhof Accelerando Choir, the Tygerberg Children's Choir and the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University Choir, from Port Elizabeth.

Having attracted many guests in the past, the event invites choral classics enthusiasts to experience these internationally renowned choirs perform individually and collectively under one roof.

“For many years, the Cape has been home to some of South Africa’s best choirs that have performed and competed internationally and have been placed under the best in the world time and again. We are pleased to play host to the event for the third time this year,” says Elouise Matthys, the PR and promotions manager at GrandWest.

The show starts at 18.00, but the doors to the Grand Arena will open early at 17.00. Tickets are available at Computicket, ranging in price from R195 per person. The dress code is jacket and tie.
