Virgin Active, adidas join forces
Effective 1 July 2008, global sports brand adidas is now the key sportswear supplier to health and fitness brand Virgin Active in South Africa.
adidas will supply all Virgin Active personal trainers at Health Clubs around the country with sports apparel and footwear. All sponsored products will be co-branded with adidas and Virgin Active logos.
“We are proud to be associated with Virgin Active and we have no doubt that the trainers will benefit from our innovative range of performance products,” said Andrew Wilson, sports marketing specialist, adidas South Africa.
“We believe there is real synergy between the brands and look forward to a successful relationship with adidas,” added Jeff Clements, brand manager, Virgin Active South Africa.
