New sponsor for career roadshow

The Rocking Future Roadshow has kicked off the New Year with Standard Bank as its new sponsor. The purpose of the show is to assist matric students in their future career decision-making process.

The roadshow, which has been running for eight years, achieves this by visiting over 200 high schools in nine regions and informing the students of the vast career prospects, tertiary institutions, and post-school opportunities available.

According to Kay Vee, GM of Three Ring Circus and the Standard Bank Rocking Future Roadshow, “Standard Bank's mission matches that of Three Ring Circus, to assist the youth of today. Bringing Standard Bank on as a sponsor was beneficial as they have a complete package of finance solutions on offer to students who are unable to fund their own studies”.

The focus for the 2008 show has been to increase the educational value of the shows, while encouraging fun and participation.
