Auditions for Idols are underway, with Johannesburg having commenced on Saturday 23 June. The other venues following are: The River Club in Cape Town on 29 June; Main Beach in Margate on 5 July; the Oakhill School in Knysna on 10 July; and at Supersport Park in Centurion on 18 July.

Idols launches on M-Net on Sundays at 5.30pm from 19 August.
