The Fairway Hotel & Spa, part of the Guvon Hotels & Spa Group, opened its doors on Friday 14 May displaying 5-star elegance and exquisite cuisine during a special cocktail party held for the Randpark Golf Committee, Randburg Residence Association and Randburg residents.
"We felt this to be the opportune moment to thank the residents of Randpark for their patience while the building progressed on this R140 million hotel project. We therefore invited all residents who are direct neighbours to the new hotel to be our very first guests to sleep in our new beds, try out all the facilities and experience the fantastic cuisine first hand," said Leon Bosch, Guvon Hotels & Spas operations director.
Situated on the Randpark Golf Course, 2km from Cresta Shopping Centre, this brand new city hotel is ideally situated for conferences, business meetings, weddings and fine dining for city dwellers. The Fairway has 62 hotel rooms and 14 double-storey Golf Villas, each with four en suite rooms. The hotel includes 35 luxury rooms, 16 premier rooms, one paraplegic room, two suites and eight family rooms.
The Fairway Spa, which opens in June, provides relaxation for hotel guests, golfers or ladies who enjoy a bit of pampering while their husbands are on the golf course.
From 27 May The Fairway Hotel & Spa will host the Brazilian World Cup football team, which, according to a poll conducted by the International Sports Press Association, is the favourite to win the World Cup.
