The Soweto Ink Crew will be hosting its fourth annual Tattoo Convention and Lifestyle Show at GOG Gardens Soweto on 30 November 2019.
Sibusiso Dlamini and Ndumiso Ramate are the founders of Soweto Ink – one of the very few black-owned tattoo parlours. The Soweto Ink team has set on building an empire from a culture considered taboo in some black communities.
The team has been in the business of body art for more than a decade and his clientele boasts the likes of Burna Boy, AKA, Priddy Ugly and Gigi Lamayne, among other stars.
The convention includes entertainment and seminars aimed at empowering international tattoo artists.
Alternative lifestyle culture, entertainment, tattoo stalls (local and International), art stalls, variety stalls, food trucks, kiddie area, live bands/performances and DJs will also be on offer.
During the convention, artists will be judged on their artworks by a panel of judges, and one skilled artist will be announced the winner of the 2019 Soweto Ink Convention.
