Turn up the vibe with BOUNCE at the Rand Show

New to the Rand Show, it's the BOUNCE Vibe Tribe. This group of uber-energetic athletes will be amping up the vibes at the Rand Show's new Action Zone on weekends, with a trampoline showcase that's as much fun for the audience as it is for the participants.

The BOUNCE Vibe Tribe boasts some of the best athletes in local trampolining. There’s Zander Biewenga, SA National and African trampolinist champion, Siphiwe Mosoang, the trampoline coach for Central Gauteng, and Tiaan van der Walt, the coach for the SA National trampoline squad, to name a few.

And together with the rest of the BOUNCE Vibe Tribe, they’ll be showing off their crazy skills as they literally bounce off walls, take on the Great Wall, flip through the air, and slam-dunk like basketball pros.

They’ll also be mixing it up with the BOUNCE parkour and extreme cheer crew. Parkour is a new sport that involves getting yourself as quickly and efficiently through an urban environment ... running up stairs, swinging off poles, climbing over walls, and jumping from heights. While the Vibe Tribe team defies gravity, the parkour crew will entertain the audience on the ground, flipping, rolling and diving over obstacles, and launching the cheer girls into the air.

But it’s not just the BOUNCE Vibe Tribers who get to have all the fun... Rand Show visitors can get in on the action and win prizes in BOUNCE slam-dunk and parkour competitions held throughout the day.

Catch the BOUNCE Vibe Tribe all Easter weekend and on the closing weekend of the Rand Show: 14-17 April and 22-23 April 2017.

Other adrenalin-charged attractions in the Action Zone include “Sick” Nick de Wit and his crew of top FMX riders, performing gravity-defying feats in their FMX stunt show, “Gravity Clash”. Plus there’s Foot-up Trials rider Brian Capper, who will wow audiences with his show, Xtreme Riding Xhibitions.

All this great action is just part of the lineup of top-class entertainment at this year’s Rand Show. South Africa’s biggest consumer expo is the only show to offer attractions covering everything from sport, motoring, military, and science and technology, to design, animals, gardening, health and beauty, and variety shows ... there’s an entire day out for the whole family packed into each Rand Show ticket.
