Companies can enter teams of four to show off their potjiekos-making prowess. Potjies will be judged and the winners stand a chance to win fabulous prizes. The potjiekos will be on sale for R25 per portion and the funds raised will also go towards the Hospice Association of Kimberley. The potjiekos competition will kick off at 09:00.
The community is urged to be part of Flamingo Casino's 2015 Winter Knights by joining the fun on the day and donating winter clothing, blankets and non perishable foods. Representatives of Flamingo Casino and members of the Elite Rebels Biker Club will assemble at the casino from 11:00 where the handover of the donations to the Hospice Association of Kimberley will take place.
Getting ready to show off their potjiekos cooking skills are Jaco van Wyk (Flamingo Casino's SHE coordinator), Henry Boekhouer (gaming manager at Flamingo Casino) and Enone Bosch (the PR and Promotions coordinator at Flamingo Casino).
