Squash players excel on international circuit
Waters, currently ranked 35th in the world, emerged victorious from her recent trip to the New South Wales Open where she beat Australian Sarah Cardwell in a four game final, after having lost the opening game 2-11. The win gave Waters her third WSA title of 2013, and saw her join world number 17 Sarah-Jane Perry as one of only three players to take three titles this year. Her run of good form has also resulted in a six place jump up the international rankings since February.
Coppinger is doing equally well in the men's division, and is currently ranked 17th in the world. He recently came close to clinching his first PSA title of the year in May when he made it to the finals of the Torneo Internacional PSA Sporta in Guatemala, but was beaten by Colombian Miguel Angel Rodriguez and had to settle for the second step on the podium - the second time for Coppinger this year.
