Organiser and founder of The Wine Show, John Woodward, said that every year he is impressed by the support shown for the concept. "Since its launch in 2009, Wine Laid Bare has had many cancer survivors participate in the competition. Once again, we have been overwhelmed by the response from photographers, models, and wine-loving South Africans who were willing to bare it all in a tasteful interpretation of the theme and in aid of breast cancer awareness."

The winning photos were submitted by Randall Spruit (January), Graphic Art (February), Robert Russell (March), Gunther Swart (April and May), Lucien Desmarais (June), Theuns Coetzee (July and August), Riaan Swanepoel (September), Pauline Nash (October), Nicholas Goldsworthy (November) and Fiona Nick (December).
