Hospitality Counsel announces 2020 Luxe Restaurant Award-winners

More than 100 nominees were shortlisted for the prestigious awards ceremony, with categories ranging from the best fine dining restaurants to the best burger joints in South Africa.

The winners were announced to an intimate audience of 75 leading industry figures – including Chantel Dartnall of Restaurant Mosaic, winning both Chef and Restaurant of the Year. As well as Lorna Maseko, who was voted as South Africa's Culinary Icon for the year of 2020.
