Why children must shape Africa’s digital future

Country chef Johan van Schalkwyk will be entertaining guests with a dexterous display of wine- and food-matching ideas. Experience his easy-going way in the kitchen while he inspires with simple, but utterly delicious canapés, deftly paired with a selection of Drostdy-Hof's new varietal wines, from Sauvignon blanc to Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, but not forgetting the signature Adelpracht blend. Van Schalkwyk will be running wine-and-food workshops in the Afrox Cooking Pot (Kookpot) at 12 noon, both on Saturday, 25 April, and Monday, 27 April.
The Drostdy-Hof tent is hosting a full wine bar, featuring its most popular offerings, with comfortable seating and a relaxed lounge area where informal Simonsberg cheese-and-wine pairings will be presented by a team of knowledgeable staff.
The SA Cheese Festival promises more than ever this year with an astounding variety of cheeses, new cheese products, cooking demonstrations, live entertainment, famous personalities and hours of family fun.
Tickets are available at all Computicket outlets including those in Shoprite and Checkers supermarkets at R130 per day. Senior citizens pay R100 and children 13 years and younger enter absolutely free. No tickets will be sold at the gate.
