Catch a Wake-up! is the theme for the fifth Tony Koenderman's Brainstorm to be held in Cape Town on Monday, 9 November 2009, and in Johannesburg on Wednesday 11 November. A one-day conference on new marketing, it features online marketing guru, Fernanda Romano, with her topic Hit the re-set button. Maximise your marketing impact in a changing world.

Brainstorm is run in collaboration with the Online Publishers Association, which runs the Bookmark Awards.

Chris Colborn, chief experience officer at R/GA of New York will be another keynote speaker and judge the Bookmark Awards for online marketing. His topic will be A five-step digital marketing catch-up plan. Other speakers include Net#work BBDO chair Keith Shipley, Hello good buy. The most creatively neglected part of brand integration - the sale and Gloo Digital Marketing creative chief Pete Case, Digital in SA - How, when and where to use it.

"With full broadband now available to everyone, we've got a chance to close the two-year gap between us and the advanced nations," says Tony Koenderman. "This is not a conference about online marketing, but about the new integrated environment, where traditional and digital media combine to deliver a seamless message at every possible touch-point with the consumer. It will emphasise that old-fashioned silo thinking has been replaced by a vision of complete integration."
