The future is bright for Ubuhle Day Care students

At the Ubuhle Day Care Centre's graduation, which took place on 22 November 2014, BMi Research presented each pre-2015 Grade 1 scholar with a year's supply of stationery. These stationery starter kits will go a long way to ensure that the 27 learners have all the right tools to flourish during their first year at school.

"Education is one of the biggest gifts to hand to anyone and BMi Research encourages this not only to give these children an opportunity for a better life, but also in the hope of assisting to secure a future career for them as well," commented Gareth Pearson CEO of BMI Research.

BMi Research has been involved with Ubuhle, located at Valkfontien in Bronkhorstspruit, since 2008 as part of the company's CSR programme.

One of the Ubuhle Day Care Centre's previous graduates, Johannes Gama, is now a third year student at University studying Building Science. Despite being from an underprivileged family and facing many challenges, Johannes has risen above it all and is a top achiever, sailing through matric with a university entrance and going on to pass his first and second year with distinctions.
