New conference venue opens in East Rand
The Serengeti Golf & Wildlife Estate, situated on the R25 to Bronkhorstspruit in the East Rand has added a conference and banqueting centre to its facilities. It is situated at the golf club, part of the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course.
It offers a ballroom with glass doors opening onto a deck area with views of the golf course. The venue can be subdivided into three sections according to client requirements and is well equipped with audiovisual equipment and air conditioning.
The executive boardroom seats 20 comfortably for a private meeting or special dining occasion and has its own audiovisual equipment and gas fireplace.
Full and half day conference packages are available including buffet luncheons put together under the direction of Tony Barnett, the executive chef at Serengeti's fine-dining restaurant, Eighteen. Delegates can also book for half-day conference followed by nine holes on the course.
