Dlamini will be speaking on ‘Minimum norms and standards in key dimensions of public administration and enhancing integrity within the public service’.

The congress, which is set to take place in Cape Town from 9-11 November 2016, brings together some of the top finance executives and thinkers from across the world. Presentation topics during the three-day congress will range from ‘impact of global trends on the future of Africa’ and ‘ramifications of Brexit’, to ‘roles and responsibilities of public sector CFOs’.

“Events such as these are not only important for those in the financial management and accounting fields, they bear relevance to any member of a business or public organisation who recognises the necessity for sound operational financial management in a globalised and highly competitive economy,” says Dlamini.

With the imminent release of the King IV Report on Corporate Governance for South Africa, Professor Mervyn King will also be speaking at the congress on the topic ‘Adding value through corporate governance and what we can expect from King IV’.

Founded in 1969, the Swiss-based IAFEI has 18 member institutes with a membership of more than 12,000 finance executives from across the world.
