Corporate Games is the world's largest multi-sports festival for businesses and organisations, and brings global sporting competition within everyone's reach. The V&A Waterfront is the perfect host venue to showcase some of the best that Cape Town has to offer as a tourism, business and sporting destination.

According to Nicole Visser, Marketing & Communications Manager at 3rd South Africa, this year's event has received an enormous amount of interest from organisations across South Africa and the rest of the world. "Companies are keen to be involved in this opportunity of sporting competition, team building and networking," said Visser. "The Cape Town Corporate Games is fast becoming one of the premier events on the corporate calendar."

The number of participants has doubled since 2012 and there were 47 companies taking part in this year's Games. The organisers are attempting to break the Corporate Games record in years to come which is currently held by Melbourne, Australia where 12,000 athletes participated in 2009.

The Corporate Games was founded to encourage companies to support their employees in pursuing a more active lifestyle. It enhances teamwork and cooperation at work, and provides valuable opportunities for networking and brand exposure - not to mention lots of friendly sporting rivalry and fun!
