Abigail Donnelly is Best Food Writer of the Year

The awards, sponsored by the South African Egg industry for the past 22 years, recognise excellence in food writing, food styling and overall promotion of the South African food culture. They are described as one of the largest and most prestigious food journalism awards in South Africa.

"Donnelly has a fresh, innovative approach when it comes to food - she sets the creative pace on shoots and boldly experiments with fresh new twist which actively engages and delights the reader," says Bridget McCarney, MD of New Media.

Donnelly, who was recently a guest judge on Master Chef, is also editor of Eat Out.
