Rocker Mom for My Tyd cover story
Rapport's new weekly glossy lifestyle magazine, My Tyd, has an exclusive cover feature with South Africa's queen of rock, Karen Zoid and her five-year-old son Ben for the magazine's Mother's Day issue, on shelf with Rapport on Sunday 13 May 2012.
In the exclusive cover feature, Zoid also reveals how her own mother's death from cancer when she was only nine made her more aware of the privilege and responsibility of being a mom. "I used to get so depressed on Mother's Day, walking past Cardies as a kid. Now I have someone I can call family."
The issue also features sentiments from other well-known South Africans such as Free State vice chancellor Jonathan Jansen.
