People award the Crystals

The new design of the Crystal Awards trophy was unveiled along with another surprise - the introduction of People Magazine's Miss Crystal Awards 2005 and a competition for readers who stand to win the title simply by sending in photos of themselves. The 2005 winner, Juan-Mari Rossouw, handed out the prestigious trophies to the Crystal Award winners.

The 2005 Crystal Awards will be broadcast on e.tv's Showbiz Report, SABC1's Yo TV, M-Net's K-TV, and The Home Channel on DStv.
