Supernova issue four's main feature article takes children on a journey to discover more about rhinos, especially the difference between black and white rhinos. By knowing the facts and understanding rhinos better, we can all realise why it is so important to fight to save them. More than 160 rhinos have been poached for their horns since the beginning of 2012 and it is up to us to do something about it.
There are so many ways in which everyone, children included, can help save the rhino. One way is to purchase a "Save Our Rhinos" CD, featuring popular South African bands and musicians. The Endangered Wildlife Trust will receive 10 percent of the profits to be put towards developing new ways to stop rhino poaching. You can read all about this initiative and see what the celebrity contributors have to say about rhinos in the current issue of Supernova.
To keep our kids curious, the issue also features the usual fun and interesting facts, activities, competitions and reviews, not to mention quality articles.
